Gilenberg Design Engineering delivers outside design engineering consulting to help companies navigate complex board layouts and embedded projects.

Our Philosophy

Gilenberg Design Engineering was founded based on the principle that companies may benefit from an outside design firm.

Although your company may have a well-trained and dedicated in-house staff, they are often overloaded with projects and don't have the bandwidth to get everything done in time. In times such as these, instead of having to prioritize or choose between critical projects, it is most advantageous to hire an outside firm to help offload some of the design burden.

Phase 1: Project Alignment

We review your specifications, select key ICs, design pinout limits, and build high-level system diagrams.

Phase 2: Schematic Capture & Verification

We capture the board schematics, build component symbols/footprints, and run electrical rule checks (ERC).

Phase 3: PCB Layout & Routing

We route traces, place planes, establish impedance constraints, and configure layers for target DFM guidelines.

Phase 4: Logic Implementation & Board Bring-up

We compile FPGA firmware and driver BSPs, program prototypes, verify clock constraints, and isolate power issues.
